Call for Children books in Arabic

The 101 Books Exhibition to take place for the second consecutive year.

From today and till the 1st of July 2010 Publishing Houses and NGO’s producing story books for children in the Arabic language are invited to nominate titles to be included in the 101 Books Exhibition.

For the second year, the Anna Lindh Foundation will organise the 101 Books Exhibition in the framework of its Arab Children Literature programme which is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The objective of the exhibition is to provide a broad audience of children in the Arab world with access to quality story books recently published and written in Arabic.

Submitted books will be screened and evaluated by a committee which will select the 101 best titles to be presented during the exhibition. In addition, local exhibitions will also be organised in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria and will tour from city to city.
